Si bien Nintendo opt\u00f3 por NVIDIA para la Switch y su sucesora, AMD se ha convertido en la \u00fanica alternativa para PlayStation, Xbox y Valve. Eso cambiar\u00e1 muy pronto, ya que <strong>Intel planea competir de frente con un nuevo chip<\/strong> pensado para consolas como la Steam Deck.<\/p>\n<p>La compa\u00f1\u00eda aprovech\u00f3 el CES 2026 para<a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.intel.com\/client-computing\/ces-2026-intel-core-ultra-series-3-debut-first-built-on-intel-18a\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> presentar sus nuevos procesadores<strong> Intel Core Ultra Series 3<\/strong><\/a>, los cuales prometen un rendimiento de primer nivel gracias a su CPU de 16 n\u00facleos y una iGPU Arc de hasta 12 n\u00facleos Xe. Aunque los chips est\u00e1n dise\u00f1ados para ordenadores port\u00e1tiles con IA, Intel ha decidido lanzar una \u00ab<strong>plataforma completa de juegos port\u00e1tiles<\/strong>\u00bb basada en esta arquitectura durante 2026.<\/p>\n<p>La pieza central de la estrategia es la arquitectura <strong>Panther Lake<\/strong>, un chip con una iGPU integrada que fue mostrado por primera vez en octubre y ahora impulsa los Core Series 3. La MSI Claw fue la primera consola en integrar procesadores Meteor Lake con gr\u00e1ficos Intel Arc. Un a\u00f1o m\u00e1s tarde, MSI actualiz\u00f3 la Claw 8 AI+ y Claw 7 AI+ con Lunar Lake, que ofrec\u00edan mejor rendimiento gr\u00e1fico y eficiencia energ\u00e9tica.<\/p>\n<p>Intel mencion\u00f3 a inicios de 2025 que estaba reforzando su plantilla de ingenieros con miras a <strong>desarrollar una plataforma port\u00e1til de juegos<\/strong>.
