Por razones evidentes, no solemos ver personas cerca de la plataforma de lanzamiento durante las emisiones de los vuelos, pero estas fotos ayudan a percibir mejor su descomunal tama\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 1 --> <\/p>\n<p>La versi\u00f3n actual de Starship mide 121,3 metros de altura: 71 del propulsor Super Heavy y 50,3 de la nave Starship. En comparaci\u00f3n, el cohete SLS de la NASA mide 98 metros, el Falcon 9 de SpaceX mide 70 metros, y el Ariane 6 de la Agencia Espacial Europea mide 62 metros. Starship 2, que empezar\u00e1 a probarse a principios de 2025, se estirar\u00e1 hasta los 124,4 metros para albergar dep\u00f3sitos m\u00e1s grandes. Para elevar su propio peso y 100 toneladas de carga a la \u00f3rbita baja terrestre, Starship necesita m\u00e1s de 5.000 toneladas de metano y ox\u00edgeno l\u00edquido. Otro aspecto muy caracter\u00edstico del cohete es la cantidad de motores. El Super Heavy tiene 33 y la Starship tiene seis, tres optimizados para la atm\u00f3sfera terrestre y otros tres para el vac\u00edo del espacio, con la tobera m\u00e1s grande; aunque Musk ha comentado en varias ocasiones que versiones futuras del cohete tendr\u00e1n a\u00fan m\u00e1s motores. La versi\u00f3n actual del motor se denomina Raptor 2, pero SpaceX ya tiene en pruebas los nuevos Raptor 3.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 3 --> <\/p>\n<p>El vuelo 7 de Starship acaba de recibir el visto bueno de la Administraci\u00f3n Federal de Aviaci\u00f3n y se espera para enero o febrero de 2025. Aunque marca el debut de una nave de segunda generaci\u00f3n, con el n\u00famero de serie Starship 33, el propulsor Super Heavy seguir\u00e1 siendo de la primera. En este caso, se trata del Booster 14, que <a rel=\"noopener, noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SpaceX\/status\/1866205160693010587\" data-id=\"noopener noreferrer\">acaba de completar<\/a> una prueba de encendido y, en unos d\u00edas, tendr\u00e1 apilada encima la Ship 33 de nueva generaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 4 --><\/p>\n<p>En cuanto a la Starship de tercera generaci\u00f3n, tambi\u00e9n llamada Starship v3, Starship 3 o Starship Block 3, no se espera hasta dentro de unos a\u00f1os, pero promete ser <a class=\"text-outboundlink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.xataka.com\/espacio\/elon-musk-ha-revelado-servira-starship-v3-para-llevar-todas-criaturas-a-marte-como-arca-noe\" data-vars-post-title=\"Elon Musk ha revelado para qu\u00e9 servir\u00e1 Starship V3: para &quot;llevar todas las criaturas&quot; a Marte como un arca de No\u00e9\" data-vars-post-url=\"https:\/\/www.xataka.com\/espacio\/elon-musk-ha-revelado-servira-starship-v3-para-llevar-todas-criaturas-a-marte-como-arca-noe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">el arca de No\u00e9 en la colonizaci\u00f3n de Marte<\/a>.
