Seg\u00fan la chipera de San Diego, se trata del primer chip m\u00f3vil dedicado a dicho segmento que <strong>integra capacidades de lector RFID de frecuencia ultraalta en su procesador<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>El Dragonwing Q-6690 de Qualcomm promete simplificar la implementaci\u00f3n de lectores RFID en una interesante variedad de rubros. Desde la log\u00edstica comercial y el control de inventarios, hasta la salud, atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica y seguridad p\u00fablica, entre otros.<\/p>\n<p>Al tener las capacidades de RFID integradas en su procesador, el Qualcomm Dragonwing Q-6690 aspira a ganarse un espacio en dispositivos como <strong>m\u00f3viles y tablets<\/strong>. Especialmente en aquellos que tienen un dise\u00f1o m\u00e1s robusto para su uso en todo tipo de condiciones clim\u00e1ticas. Pero no solo eso, puesto que tambi\u00e9n se puede aplicar en <strong>kioscos inteligentes y de autoservicio, cajones de dinero y otros sistemas de punto de venta<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Un punto interesante del nuevo chip m\u00f3vil de Qualcomm es que ofrece un enfoque modular a las empresas que lo implementen en sus dispositivos. empresariales y profesionales al integrar sistemas basados en RFID. Adaptar dicha tecnolog\u00eda a dispositivos ya existentes suele ser problem\u00e1tica, debido a que requiere que se concrete tanto a nivel de hardware como de software. Esto no solamente incrementa los costes, sino que tambi\u00e9n requiere de m\u00e1s tiempo de implementaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Esos son los puntos claves que se propone atacar Qualcomm con la familia de chips Dragonwing. Gracias a la incorporaci\u00f3n del lector RFID en su procesador, el Q-6690 es <strong>totalmente compatible con el protocolo de radio RAIN<\/strong>. A esto se le debe sumar que esta tecnolog\u00eda coexiste con otros sistemas de radiofrecuencia sin inconvenientes.<\/p>\n<p>As\u00ed, el Qualcomm Dragonwing Q-6690 no solamente destaca por el lector RFID integrado. Tambi\u00e9n, por ser compatible con <strong>redes 5G y WiFi 7<\/strong>, como tambi\u00e9n con conexiones <strong>Bluetooth 6.0<\/strong>. Adem\u00e1s, el chip soporta la tecnolog\u00eda de <strong>banda ultraancha<\/strong>, que tambi\u00e9n se conoce como UWB.<\/p>\n<p>Otro beneficio en el que se apoya la chipera es en la eficiencia energ\u00e9tica. De esta forma, los dispositivos m\u00f3viles que adopten el nuevo componente ver\u00e1n una mejor autonom\u00eda en comparaci\u00f3n con aquellos que deben trabajar con un lector RFID externo.<\/p>\n<p>Respecto de su llegada al mercado, se espera que comience a verse en dispositivos de uso comercial <strong>en pr\u00f3ximos meses<\/strong>.
